Every puppy I have had, I have put in a kennel at night time, or when I am away from home for a few reasons - this way they cannot chew on things, and go to the bathroom all over the house. Everyy puppy I have owned always cried and whined for a while. You HAVE to keep tlyhem in there no matter what. It made me sad to hear but you can't give in and let them out. He will stop eventually, as annoying as it is.
I started putting puppies in kennels at night when my 8 week old puppy chewed my couch during the night. I love my dogs so much, and kennels are not cruel. So there's no such thing as puppies being too young for kennels.
Either way you're going to have to tough it out for a little longer, he will get used to the kennel. Put a nice soft blanket in there, and a few of his favourite toys in there. Don't talk to him when he's in there, pretend as if you are not there.
Good luck!!
