if you are in India.....

to get the PUK code for your Vodafone sim, use another Vodafone user's phone and dial 111. there, follow the recorded voice and when it says " For lost card and PUK information, press 7" you press 7 and then further press 2 for PUK information. it will ask you to type the Vodafone phone number for which you require the PUK code. type the number and listen carefully as the PUK code is stated.

i suggest you keep a pen and paper handy as the code is not repeated twice.

this is how you can get your PUK code for your Vodafone phone in India. elsewhere, i do not know.
also, i do not know what you can do about your sim getting cancelled.

You probably need to go into the store because normally you get your puk code from the operator and the fact that they said they cancelled your sim is just weird so I'd pop into the store :)

Theres is nowhere else you can get it other than your current operator. They'll try and avoid giving it to you but me demanding and it should work.
