how do i get my PS3 to play divx movies?

apparently the PS3 will play divx movies, but i cant get it to work, i have the latest software update, any idea's would be appreciated,
 
first of the all, you need a little chat with your ps3 and tell him "i spent fucking 300 bucks on you and you cant even play divx movies, i should go get a divx dvd player instead and its only 69 bucks" then ignore him a bit...or buy a wii or xbox 36 the next day and make your ps3 jealous...
