How do I get my poppadoms to cook?

Help! I bought some poppadoms for an indian dish and I can't get them to cook in the microwave. I think that the microwave is on High but they just go round and round for more than 3 minutes and... Nothing! I can't deep fry them because I don't like oil and I tend to burn them as well so if anyone has any suggestions on how to get my poppadoms to cook that would be great! Thanks.
