I have an 11 year old Westie. He is house trained & neutered (so PLEASE don't tell me to neuter him). I've looked online but everything is about dogs marking their territory indoors but my problem is outdoors. Recently, it has become IMPOSSIBLE to take him on a walk/or to the park. He's always been bad about marking his territory outdoors but lately it has gotten worse. When he finds a scent that he absolutely wants to mark he his so head strong on marking it (I have to pull & pull or pick him up to get him away from the scent), when before he I could tug the leash a little and he would leave the scent and follow. PLEASE help! I hate not being able to take him on walks anymore because of this problem. If anyone has any training tips, I would appreciate the advise! Thanks!
