How do I get my dog to stop whining?

She's driving me crazy. she whines when she wants to be with my aunt and she has to stay in her crate (because she gets into stuff and would whine either way) I believe she is a genious, but she's very irritating at the same time because she gets bored really easilly. How can I make her stop whineing while she's in the crate?
 
You know at 60 years old I never put a dog in a crate so if I was in one I would whine too. The only difference is I would like a little cheese with my whine...let the dog be free...jail would make you whine too.
 
Do not pay any attention to her when she whines, none. Don't look at her, don't talk to her, nothing. She will quickly get that she will not get anything in return for her whining. Just be sure that she is not whining to be let out to potty. If she just went and she is whining in the crate, she is doing it for attention.
 
maybe give her a toy to put in her crate or something that smells like you or your aunt(whoever she is whining for) i.e. a pillow case/an old shirt.
Try ton comfort her a little.
 
I think i would whine too if i was in a crate that much. She just wants to be where all the action is. I say if she only whines when she's in the crate then you can make her stop when you take her out. problem solved! :-)
Spend some quality time with her, play, run, walk anything is better than being in a crate.
 
You need to train her discipline and keep her busy. Play with her, take her out for a walk, dogs get bored and when they do the start getting into trouble.
 
Depending how long she is stuck in the crate make sure (no matter how much she annoys you) that she is getting plenty of attention and play time/walks outside. If she has to be in the crate for a decent amount of time be sure that she still has water and also give her toys (specifically raw hides and things of that nature to keep her busy.

what sucks is you have to get her spayed take her to the vet and they will do it and if you dont no what that means it means they have to get sergiery i no it sucks i had to do that to my dog
