I work with a guy that feels sorry for himself cause he doesn't have a girlfriend. Yesterday he went on and on about how he is going to try and get back with his ex since he is getting so old and needs to settle down with someone. I told him he was only 26 years old and there are plenty of women out there. He just stared at me like he didn't understand. What should I say to get him to realize that not having a girlfriend isn't the most depressing thing in the world?
P.S. We live in a small town where everyone gets married when their 18. So he's comparing himself to his friends.
