How do i get my burned CD's to play in my Car?

I have a 2002 GMC Envoy, it is the LUX edition with leather and a nice stereo system, no cheap car yet it will not play my burned CD's. I am burning them on Memorex CD-R disks and it says up to 80 min yet my CD player does not recognize the disk... urg!

You might not have copied the cd's right. I have burned some cd's and they didn't come out, so i did them again and it was no big deal.
