How do i get music onto my mini SD card from my computer to my US Cellular Gloss Phone?

I have a gloss us cellular phone and was wondering how to get my music from the computer onto my Mini SD card. I've tried syncing it with windows media player and that didn't work and then even tried putting a folder on the card called "Music" but my phone still doesn't recognize the MP3 files. Please Help Me lol
