How do I get music from windows media player to Zune?

I have tried to go to settings and telling Zune where the music is. I have tried to add the main music folder and all of the little folders inside and I continue to get "Can't Add" every time I try. Can any one help me? I just got a windows phone and the music player is by Zune.
