How do I get horror movies out of my head?

I watched my first horror movie today. It wasn't really scary, just really gory. I hate gore so much. I promised myself I'll never watch one again.

I didn't even have a choice. I went to a saxaphone sectional and they all chose that movie. I wouldn't have gone if I had known.

Watch something funny. That's what I do.

watch the making of the movie, or other horror movies, watching people acting on sets with boom mikes over their heads and ketchup being squirted, and directors saying cut, and the actors that were just trying to kill each oth hanging out like best freinds, makes those things look silly, at least till you watch another one.
