how do i get back into the military with an re-4 seperation code?

i want to get back into the military extremly bad and i want to know if i can with an re-4 seperation code from the navy.. i still have an honerable discharge though.. they called it a condition not a disability??... i have a family to support and its tough to finds jobs now adays... please help me i am willing to do anything to get back in!! i love serving my country!!! god bless and thanks!
i heard that the army national guard might take me???
 
Highly unlikely that you'll get back with that code! The Nav is hitting quota, or near-quota consistently. RE-R1 folks will likely get a slot. RE-1 maybe, and anything less than that... Well, take a number and wait for a call-back.
 
I think your best bet would be to talk to the Army recruiter. They can pull some waivers that the Navy and the Marines can't.

Just remember from Navy to Army you would have to go to there shortened "boot camp."
 
The Army National Guard, a few years ago, was able to assist some people in getting in even though they had RE-4's. I've heard this is no longer the case.

If the "condition" that was responsible for your discharge is no longer present you should try the Board for Correction of Naval Records. Provide proof the condition is gone and ask that they change your RE Code.

The Board for Correction of Naval Records (BCNR) was created by Congress in 1946 to provide a method for correction of errors or removal of injustices from current and former Navy and Marine Corps member’s records without the necessity for private legislation. The statutory authority for the BCNR is codified in 10 U.S.C 1552. The Secretary of the Navy has delegated to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASN(M&RA)) the responsibility for the supervision of the BCNR.
