Ok believe me, I tried EVERYTHING! By that, I meant that she whines all about her health problems even though she doesn't have that many (she's a hypochrondiac). Trust me, everytime she goes to the doctor, she has a clean bill of health. She whines about being lonely (my grandfather died last year) and yes I tried everything: talking to her doctor, suggesting she sees a counselor, suggesting everything from seeing people in groups, spending more time with her, inviting families over to spend time with her, bingo games, volunteer, church, job, medication, calling someone on the phone etc... I tried everything even though I didn't list them all.

Anyway she whines all the time and I'm at her house already and she gets upset if I leave because that means she's alone again. So while I'm at the house, how do get away from her when she whines so much???

If you truly feel this way about your grandmother then you should work extra hours and pay for her to receive treatment from medical or health professionals. After all, if you feel such a way then they can provide better care for her than you can. You don't have to send her to a nursing home or rest home. Just hire someone to help you, to give you some time to find some peace for yourself, and when you are ready you can return to be with your grandmother.
