the local court? UK? This is an ongoing issue with my ex, and he is a postman who delivers to my office, so I need to ensure he won't hassle me when he comes.
This would be the second time I am reporting him for harassment - I first did so 6 month ago, when he & his family threatened to beat me black and blue, but I didn't proceed with legal action that time, but it is of course on record.
This time round I have filed a police report and they are due to call me back to discuss (I have been allocated a crime reference number).
How would I obtain a restraining order, or do the police have to recommend it?
