Ok well the picture on my pc isnt bad but its not as good as it could be/id like it to be so should i be changing settings is it something ive set up wrong or is it my hardware i have an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card and a 22'' wide screen Westinghouse LCD monitor

i notice in black or dark areas there seems to be a flash or a flicker its not like solid black and nothing is really sharp everything seems dull

im willing to buy new monitor or graphics card so if thats my problem suggestions on what i should get would be greatly appreciated

Ditch the ati card go with nvidia 9800 gt 512 or 9600 gso 768mb ati gave me lots of problems after they brought back there new card the hd well i bought a nvidia 9600 gt and all my games work and my image is cristal clear and has more options on screen resolution and settings the first card will cost 99.99 and the second with cost 79.99 worth every penny

On the desktop, right click on nothing and then left click on properties. Left click on settings and look at the scale that says screen resolution. Pulling it to the right increases your amount of pixels and it should give you a clearer picture. Good luck! :0)

First, go to the ati website and update your drivers

then, make sure that you have it on the highest resolution possibe (if it already is, play around with others)

blow in the connector areas and make sure there is a solid connection.

If the above fails, there is no way to tell weather it's the graphics card or the monitor from here

samsung monitors are good ones and a radeon HD 4650 should do the trick
