despite my many attempts? Cal has been consistently obese for a few years now. We have had him on a diet since he was 2 (he is now 7) and the vet had us switch to prescription diet food 2 years ago. We did the gradual calorie thing and nothing seems to be working. My family and I try to play with him every day for long periods of time to get him exercising but he just won't participate. We have also tried to walk him on a leash at the vet's request but that only had him sitting down and trying to bite at the leash. What can I do? I really want to his weight down so he can be healthier. How do I get a stubborn cat to exercise? He is also constantly hungry no matter what time of day. WE have attempted to give him larger amounts of healthy protein in hopes that this might satisfy him, but he still behaves as if we starve him. What can I do? I want to make sure Cal has a long, happy, and HEALTHY life!
