I am planning on flushing my radiator this weekend and this is how I plan on doing it:
- Draining the radiator with the engine well cooled.
- Filling it with Prestone Super Flush, and running it for 5-10 mins till the engine gets to its normal running temperature.
- Draining the flush with water.
- Refilling the radiator with coolant, and running it without the radiator cap on to get rid of the air bubbles.
- Replace radiator cap.
I also have the Back-flush kit but I'm not how to use it. Do you think I can flush my radiator without using the kit?
TIA
