How do I fix up my 1996 Buick Century 4 Door Sedan?

Hey, I just got 1996 buick century and it runs pretty well. I wanna put larger rims and tires on it and maybe a sound system, but I don't really know how to go about it. Can I just buy bigger tires and put them on or do i need to get the car raised?
Also...what kind of things should i invest in for a sound system (amplifiers, sub woofers, and speakers)?
 
well for your rims it depends on how big of rims you want to get.

about your sound system, it also depends on what type of music you listen to.
for rock 10 inch sub woofers are the way to go
for rap 12 inch subs are usually used.
for subs i would recommend Type R's made by alpine they are pretty expensive but worth the money for the sound.
amplifier i would go with the Rockford fosgate p1000.1
head unit go with pioneer.
speakers infinity are the better brand for speakers but if you get speakers you'll need another amp. just make sure you match up your RMS the place you buy from will inform you more about it. i would go through best buy.

alsoooo if you dont buy an amp that is powerful enough (doenst produce enough watts/ high enough RMS) you will blow your speakers
