It seems the motor that controls the opening and closing of my power liftgate is not working. Is there anyway to trouble shoot this better to know for sure if it is the actuator or the motor? Thanks:)
Sorry, I should have mentioned before that the first thing I did was check the fuses. No luck there. Thanks for the tips though...I will certainly try them!
Henny-thanks for the info. No disrespect, but you need to research Pacificas more and you will see that they can be plagued with problems of severfal kinds. I have read reports of the power liftgate not working as soon as 7000 miles. Ours has 60k. I am gonna try some of the things you suggested...I am an electrician so I am used to working with electrical components. We have already disconnected the unit and reconnected and we feel its the motor. I will see what happens after trying some of the suggestions. Thanks so much!

well first check the fuses.

Then a electrical testing meter would be needed to see where the power stops.

It could be a switch motor wiring connection wtc...
