Okay, i didnt know how to word the question.
Anyways, today i decided to take of the EX emblem on the back of my honda civic. i took it off, and took all the gooey stuff off just fine, but i can still see where it used to be. The area where the emblem used to be is lighter than the rest of the car, and is visible when you look at it and some angles. I was wondering if i should just buy some touch up paint. Any suggestions?
thanks for the answers so far guys!
okay so i was just checking it out, and i found that i might have taken off some kind of plastic.. clear coat maybe? because i could see some plastic kinda peeling off on the edges. i really messed up..any way i could fix this?

Before you go down that line get a bit of Restoration polish and try that on the area. As the emblem has been covering the pain work it is probably the surrounding area that is discoloured.

Touch up paint might be worth a try. I'm surprised its lighter.. I see it a lot to be darker because the rest of the car fades. You might try a good buffing compound (any auto parts store) and a lot of elbow grease. Other option is repainting the spot to match the car.
