I bought a Schwinn Legacy from Target and the the front assembly was loose in the head tube. I could move it forward and back inside the head tube when I picked the front end up. It also squeaked. So, I tightened the top bearing cone. This fixed the squeaking and steering was easy. However, after about 5 miles the steering got so tight I couldn't steer it anymore. I loosened up the top bearing cone and then I could steer, but half a block later it got tight again. Any idea what's going on and how I fix it? Should I be looking at the stem bolt? I've had this bike a month and it hasn't gotten wet.
