So at this point i'm still uncertain if it's my laptop or my router and modem setup. Okay so first off let me tell you my setup, i have a Asus G72GX RBBX05, i'm using a Webstar modem model #DPX2203(series)from time warner cable connected to a Netgear wireless router WGR614.
So basically this setup worked great for several months, but in the past couple weeks my connection (and only mine)keeps disappearing from the wireless networks list on my laptop even though the router is only a couple feet from my laptop, and when it is there most of the time it won't connect. if i restart my laptop it connects no problem but only for about 30mins to an hour before it starts disconnecting, after a while all connections disappear and the list of wireless connections just says "no Connections Available" i have my PS3 hooked up to the router with an ethernet cord(wired) and it never has internet problems. the thing that throws me off most is when i go to my friends house(who has the same router) my laptop has no problems on his connection. Nothing has changed in my house(electronic wise) since i first set this up other than a few more wireless networks going up in my area and some new neighbors moving in across the street.
sorry for the big read but can anyone help me with this?
BTW i have tried resetting both my router and modem using the reset button
