How do i fix my rear axle on my suzuki forenza or how much to get fixed?

i was driving about 75 on the freeway and my right front tire blew out causing me to fishtail. i manage to gain control safely and pulled over to the side to fix my tire to my surprise my rear axle was bent. i called a tow truck and when they dropped it off at my house (broke dont have money to fix yet) the tire where the axle is bent is caving inward. i want to be a mechanic and im planning on going to school for it so i am trying to do some research. i already checked junk yards for parts and came up empty. so my questions are 1) is it possible for a novice like me to fix it myself with out further problems? 2) how would i go about doing that? and 3) if not, how much will it be to get professionally fix and/or for parts?
