How do I fix my iPhone from this white screen problem?

Try to connect it to your computer and restore it. If you can't do that ,then you may need to send it to apple. (or wait for the battery to die then recharge it?)
 
I was walking into a different room and tripped falling and dropping my iPhone 3GS. I got up and there was just a white screen staring at me. I tried the holding the top and home button, it did nothing. Ive tried that numerous times and it just turns the screen black. No apple logos. If I do it enough it will make the screen white again but I have nothing but black and white. I don't really know what to do from here. I have called AT&T and they were absolutely no help at all. All they were willing to do was send me an article through email or help me if I wanted to pay 70 dollars for it. Does anyone know a way to help me out?
 
have you tried connecting it to itunes? That may help. If not you may have to contact apple. ATT has horrible customer service so I am not surprised they didn't help.
