disconnect lighter and replace fuse. if it still blows ,wiring problem somewhere else. most lighter fuses also control something else. if fuse does not blow check back of lighter to see if ground plug is touching hot. common problem
replace unit easy to do and cheap to buy can get one at any parts store an d might be a problem with gps unit or fuse might not be big enough to handle power
I have an '01 oldsmobile alero and everytime i try to put a fuse in to power the cigarette lighter it blows. I checked in the lighter for a coin or something and its clean. I need it to charge my GPS but i cant find the problem
