I have a 1993 Chevy Camaro (5-speed, 3.4L V6) and the 5th gear doesnt work. Im pretty sure it is the synchronizer. I wanted to know if anyone knew how much i would cost to fix this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The cheapest way to fix it would be to replace it. You can probably find a good used replacement on Ebay. You might as well replace the clutch, throw-out bearing, and pressure plate. Go ahead and have the flywheel surfaced too as this will aid in very smooth shifts and long life.
