How do I find the value of a Harley-Davidson, circa 1924-29?

something THAT OLD TALK TO ! OF THE LOCAL HARLEY DEALERSHIPS THEY CAN GIVE YOU A GENERAL IDEA OF WHAT ITS WORTH MY BEST EDUCATED GUESS IS YOU COULD EASILY GET THE COST OF A BRAND NEW FULL BAGGER FOR IT IF ITS IN DECENT SHAPE

Walnicks cycle trader is where I would start. Kelly Blue Book will not have anything that old, and because it is more a collector piece than daily rider, most dealerships won't be able to appraise it either, other than to offer you a swap for something in their show room, provided you have the title to the old bike.

Depending on condition and all original parts, you could be looking at 25k all the way up to 75k. If you are correct on the years ranging from '24 to '29 i doubt it saw any time in service. WW1 was over by then, Armistice Day was Nov. 11, 1919 and WW2 was about 12 to 13 years away, Dec. 7th 1941

I was just looking around and came across a 1929 H.D. that was owned by Steve McQueen the actor. The estimated value was 12k to 18k, but sold for 32k, I'm sure it sold for more because of who owned it. Go to www.mcqueenonline.com and take a look.
