How do I find the fair market value for a 2008 Harley Davidson?

Go to kbb.com and you should be able to find out what the "book" value of the bike is. To find out what you can realistically expect to be able to sell it for, go to either craigs list or cycle trader for your area. You're probably going to be shocked at how little they're selling for versus what it's worth to you. Good luck.
 
KBB is the way to go,... but right about now; right before Christmas and the middle of winter is the worst time to get rid of your ex's bike. If you can hold out until spring when everybody wants a bike, you make out much, much better....

Remember, buy motorcycles & water skis in winter, woodstoves and propane stock in summer.
