How do I find out if he's in jail? please help. ;/?

So, my mom has gone through A LOT! Her boyfriend hasn't treated her the best, & she broke up with him. He decided to find her. He pretty much beat the heck out of her, & raped her.

That was about a a month ago. I have a feeling his court date has past & he might've gotten out of jail because my mom has gone missing. Me & her were really close & all of a sudden she's just disappeared. I'm not jumping to any conclusions but it would really help me out if you could tell me how to find out if he was still in jail or not..

The calling idea was good but I know theres a way to do it online. I was looking for the online answer. but thank you. if all else fails, i will.
 
If your mother has gone missing and has a history of domestic violence by the boyfriend--who you suspect may be out of jail--you should report her missing to the police immediately, and give them as much info about the boyfriend as you can. That is something they can check out very easily.
