How do I find a detailed bicycle trail that goes from Alaska to Florida?

Check with Adventure Cycling Association for route ideas. Their maps are very detailed. Toggle 'walking' at Google maps to stay off limit access highways. Cruise www.crazyguyonabike.com and www.bikeforums.com. Study maps of Alaska and Canada.

As you've seen websites about this already, I'm sure most would respond to email inquiries. Buy the book off the link Bob left you.

I find it more fun and interesting to plan my own routes rather than relying on someone else. Easy to do.

I know that it can be done, because I have seen many websites dedicated to people who have done it.

I want to find the route that they used (I understand that bicycles are not allowed onto interstates) so that I can try this next semester after I graduate.

I have tried looking up bicycle and hiking directions to go from Florida to Alaska, and so far I have found no results. Can anyone help me by showing me how other people are able to plan these trips, or by showing me a trip that has already been planned?

Thanks in advance :)
