How do i Edit HTML doc?

so i opened a notepad and i changed a picture and some text but the text doesnt appear correct on the web page but the picture has been changed. please do not send me web links, i have limited access to most sites from this computer.

You're gonna have to know some html yourself in order to hand-code this correctly. What about the text is incorrect? Maybe if you gave an example I could see what is wrong.
