How do I download music and ringtones to my Kin 2?

So, I got my Kin 2 2day and I love it. The radio is great, but the woman at the verizon store said I could put my ipod music on it. How do I do that?? And it won't connect to my computer!! I didn't get the package thing. So, what do I do??
