I'm in the process of remodeling my house. My kitchen walls have too many flaw that I'd rather not mess with. I want to go the texturing route. I've been searching the internet and keep running into dead ends. I saw this texture in a restaurant that looks like they took some sort of sponge and dabbed drywall mud all over. It's almost a sun/ starbust shape. Preferably I'd like tips on how to do that or what it is even called. But other ideas and tips would be helpful and much appreciated.
P.S. I'm going for a tuscan/rustic look with he warm colors mixed with greens. If that triggers your imagination at all. Thanks!
I'm a "usual" in the local hardware store and when I told them what I was doing they looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. I live in a small town and unfortunaty don't have access to a "Lowes". ---- I looked at the textured paint and for as bad my walls are dented up I think I'll need something thicker. Plus I have GALLONS of drywall compound to use up! Thanks for answering!
