...I put it with recycle? I live in manhattan, it was delivered years ago. I cant exactly drive it anywhere...
We have a recycling building next door, where I put old cardboard boxes, can I put it there too?

I dont want to get into trouble by just putting it with my trash. However, I'm moving soon and have no idea what to do with it.

no no no... a free sign will not do it. put it on the curb with a "For Sale $50" sign and it will be stolen most assuredly.

you can either list it on free stuff with craigs list or go to freecycling and list it there

If it works, just put it on the front walk with a "free" sign on it. It will be gone by the end of the day, if not sooner. Even if it doesn't work, put it out anyway (as long as it's not a complete disaster of loose parts), and scrappers will take it.
