destroying mom's persian rugs? okay...i've got a 6-month old mongrel pup who happen to wreck havoc in our home as well as to our neighbors....

chewing down the papers
disturbing the garden soil and plants
damaging the rugs
misplacing our flip flops and sandals
peeing inside the house
bringing the neighbor's garbage in our lawn
sh***ting in our neigbor's lawn

please... we really need that dog to be disciplined ASAP!,

anyone help?
we spanked her...

and tie her leash all day and all night outside!

but....do you know any alternatives...what do you think is the best?

I think by this point it'd probably be best to get some professional dog training. I know you may already have done this, but if your dog gets into your neighbour's garden it'd probably be a good idea to completely dog proof your garden with wire mesh and stuff. My dad's idea of good discipline for a dog is smacking it when it misbehaves...but that doesn't always work. Put your possessions up high where the dog can't reach and when she goes near your rug etc make a loud noise or lead her away by her collar.

i rekon u should visit a pet specialist and get some advise or check it out on pet websites just google it. mybe u could leave it outside whenever its being naughty. it takes time. dogs r like humans. they need tiime to learn things. treat it when its good but discipline it when its being bad. that way im sure it would learn what is good and what is bad. good luck !
