How do I disable the door/key buzzer on my 1996 Ford crown Vic?

I want it to where if the key is on and the door is open I dont have to listen to the noise it sounds. Thanks for your help.
 
there isnt a way to disable it since other stuff runs through it....but u can find it under the dash and shove a screw driver into the buzzer part...will make it really quiet .....that or pull the door jam switch out...but the lights wont come on when u open the door either...and the door light might stay lit on ur dash
 
can you identify where the buzz comes from? if so if its a box under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel pull it out it should just be stuck in there like a fuse
