How do I determine the cause for my hydraulic clutch failure on my 1996...

I experienced hydraulic clutch failure after my bleeder valve came loose. Tightening it solved the problem.
You may have air in the system. If you have air in the system, you MAY have heard noise that sounds like a squeaking U-joint.

I use a Mity Vac to bleed brakes and clutch.

You can remove the oil bolt from the master cyl and quickly cover the hole with your thumb. Gently squeeze the lever and see if you get pressure.

Wear goggles, cover your bike DO NOT get hydraulic fluid on your paint.
