How do i delete the history in my internet very weird problem?

i have windows vista on my lenovo laptop. i work on internet explorer.
i delete the history by going to tools > delete all.
but even after i turn on my computer i can still see the history on my internet explorer address bar.
for eg when i want to check facebook, and when i start typing faceb in the address bar .. it automatically shows history below it and says ' facebook - ammy stuart' .
or some of my friends facebook page. how do delete this?
i did all those you mentioned still same problem
yes i did that tools> internet options> delete all .
as i have mentioned earlier ...i did all this. still :(
i asked this question here because i asked in the computer section and i gor only spam answers. i came here because you all are into science and stuff.... you should be knowing more than me :)
 
You can go into your start menu, control panel, internet options, General tab, click browsing history and delete all. Also you could open your interent, at the top left corner, you see a star and "favorites". Click that, then u see favorites, feeds and history. Click history and you can delete it that way also. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, ask and i will edit. :0)
 
yea you have not deleted the cookies. If you keep those in there then you havent really deleted your history and they can always pop back up
