how do i delete history on PC?

I have windows vista and would like to delete all search history. can't figure it out. especially on the address bar on top when i open that the history goes on forever and ever, and it seems i have to delete every site individually. Is there a way around this?
 
many ways, but depends on your browser. you can have it delete history on close, not save history, use in private browsing, etc, etc, etc....
 
Click were it says favorites (In internet adress bar, mines on the very left hand side)
Go into the history tab (up the top)
Click the day you wish to delete and press delete.
Easy :)
