How do I delete files off a flash drive when there is an error message that

It sounds like you saved shortcuts to files and not the files themselves. Look at the file size. If it's 4kb or near that, you saved a shortcut, not the actual file.

says "Cannot delete files ect. ? How do I delete files off a flash drive when there is an error message that says "Cannot delete files: Cannot read from source file or disc. "

I tried everything I know like renaming and then attempting to delete, moving them another folder ( It wont let me move or rename them either ) all to no avail . HELP !!!
