How do I deacticate my universal theft detreent on a 97 Buick Lesaber?

My SECURITY light keeps flashing, my car starts and then turns off after 3 sec. I tried the power locks bt will still not work.
 
did you get a key made lately? there is a fuse that you can take out that disable teh theft system. not sure if its under teh hood or where the fuses are. just disconnect teh battery and take teh fuse out. keep the battery off for 15 to 25 min. the reconnect. just take the negative cable off. if you take the positive off first you could damage some components.
