how do I create more sms memory on my cell phone?

I have at&t as my service provider, and use a samsung flip phone model:SGH-A127 my phone is flashing and leaving on the screen a message that says SMS memory full. I deleted everything I could think of in my photos and mms photo messages but can't seem to figure out how to make it better
