how do i create an iso image from a file or folder on my hard drive?

i have a folder containing a copy of windows xp how do i make that file into an iso immage so i can make a burnable and bootable xp disk image

You need to get a software program like powerISO and it will give you the option to compress the file into an ISO image. Thats really about all there is to it lol. O btw take the stuff out of the folder when you make the ISO or else it wont be bootable.

there are free iso makers on the internet.

most have viruses and trojans, though. your best bet is to go with a magnet torrent of an isomaker on thepiratebay.org. you have to research for yourself how torrents work, but it is well worth it, because after you gain that knowledge, you can get ANY software you want absolutely free.
