How do I cook thin-cut pork chops without drying them out?

I always have a problem when cooking thin meat, including steak and chicken, it tends to get dry, and doesn't leave that nice dark browning. I think I'm cooking them at a heat too low, any tips? Recipes would be handy also. Thanx =)
