How do I cook pork chops?

I am making a bake with pork chops. I have made this before but my pork chops were not tender more like hard and had to rip pretty good with the teeth. How do I make my pork chops TENDER and delicious. The last time; I browned them in a pan, then with a bake pan I put apple stuffing on the bottom, set pork chops and stuffing on the top. and baked it in the oven. It sounds odd but it is very good. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on what I should do with the pork chops to make them more tender?

Sounds to me like you overcooked the chops. No matter what cooking method you use, pork chops are easy to overcook. Sounds like a good, simple recipe; try cutting the cooking time down. Also, be consistent with the thickness of the chops until you get your recipe just right. Thicker chops require more cooking time.

For 3/4 inch chops, I would start with 45 minutes at 350 deg F, if the chops are not covered with the stuffing. If they are, try 55 minutes.

I've never tried that. but i do put stuffing in the bottom of a baking pan, pork chops on top of that (not browned) then cream of mushroom soup on top of that. It is very good and the pork chops are always tender.
