How do I cook beef ribs in the oven?

I found this recipe online:

Marinate the meat or apply a dry rub, wrap it in foil, bake it for an hour or so at 300°F in the oven

I want to use it because it's the fastest method I've seen (an hour), but it doesn't specify if I put the foil-wrapped ribs in a pan without a lid, or a pan with a lid, or on a baking sheet, etc. Does anyone know which is the best way? Thanks!
A glass pan with a lid put on it?
