How do I convince my parents to not get me a tutor?

I'm 13 and going into 8th grade. My parents want to get me a tutor at Sylvan or Huntigton or any other tutoring place. I know I was bad at math in 7th grade but thats because I took the honors class. It was just too much for me -- just in general 7th grade was a mess for me. This year I didnt take any honors because I want to see how easy things will be before high school. They might switch me to honors english if I get really good grades which I usually do. I'm good in english though so I dont have a problem with that. Its just math that I need a break on. I've changed a lot this summer and I think I WILL try my best and get good grades. I'll go after school if I have to but I DONT WANT A TUTOR. My parents like to stick to one decision so I really need help to pursuade them not to get me a tutor. Atleast wait for one marking period to see how I did on the report card. Please help? x[[
