how do i convince my parents to buy me a good bike?

i really like to free style and street but i have a cheap Wal-Mart "bmx" bike which really sucks. My parents are used to buying bikes from Wal-mart,Target, K-Mart, and other stores like that for bikes. So when i show them this bike from Dans Comp which is really good only for $400 they freak out and think that they can get 4 bikes for that much money. How do i explain to them that the bikes will last longer and are better?
 
Give them an excuse, like you could get good exercise out of it. You need to make it seem like an investment that will help more than just having fun.
