He says I can't go to boot camp, my parents are divorced, and my mom said I can. She is going to pay tonight and we are going tomorow. I didn't want to go at first the upperclassmen in my high school say its really fun, except the first day is like hell (im a freshmen in highschool) I really want to go to boost my rank up in rotc. And my dad doesn't want me to have anything to do with the military. ( I dnt wanna be in it when I grow up!) My mom is in the military so she is pushing it.

So, you are 14-15?

You cannot legally enter the military until 18 (in some cases close to 18 with parents signatures). This sounds like it is just some sort of exercise program with a slight military them. Since people say it is "fun" then it is definitely not military. The military is not "fun."

You should ask your Dad to explain the reasons why you shouldn't since you can't actually join the military.

ok when you say bootcamp for a JROTC are you talking about a PT trip or something? JROTC doesnt usually have one, it's not the real military so i dont think there would be anything wrong with it

Is this like... JROTC?

Boot camp is something that people who join the actual military go to..

We need to understand what you want toknow.
