How do I connect my stock speakers to an aftermarket amp?? 2000 Toyota Camry?

So here's the deal. I was given an Alpine amp and it has 5 channels. 4 are designated for speakers and 1 for a subwoofer. I already had my battery, ground, and remote wires set up in my 2000 Toyota Camry from a previous amp and subwoofer I had installed. So today I installed the alpine amp that was given to me and a JL Audio 12'' sub. Now I would like to purchase aftermarket speakers and connect them to the amp because the previous 6X9's ive bought have blown because the stock amps are weak. Can anyone please give me some advice on how to go about doing so. I would like to buy 2 6X9's for the rear and probably some 6X8's for the front. Is it as easy as running speaker wire from the amplifier in the trunk to each speaker? Thanks everyone
